JA Solar Project in Yiwu

On the morning of March 21, Yiting Town of Yiwu organized a mechanical operation for the Jing’ao Solar Project,
with six excavators shuttling back and forth to clear both natural and man-made attachments to the land. After a day’s intensive work, the workers finished clearing the industrial block, which is the first phase of the JA Solar Project.
JA Solar, covering an area of over 46 hectares, has an annual output of 10GW high-efficiency cells and 10GW high-efficiency modules, with a total investment of 10.2 billion RMB. This project developed by JA Solar will be constructed in two phases. The first phase covers an area of about 26 ha, and it is expected to have an annual output of 5GW solar cells and 5GW solar modules. After the project is fully completed and put into production, it is expected to realize an annual sales income of 17 bn RMB.
JA Solar, which ranks third among photovoltaic module companies worldwide, is developing a project in Yiting Town, Yiwu, which will accelerate the construction of Yiting and promote the local economy.
“We set up a policy-processing team for the JA Solar Project. It carried out the land seedling evaluation in less than one week, successfully signed seedling relocation agreements with 6 seedling companies and 73 farmers, and cleared 437.43 acres of land for the project,” said Feng Guobin, member of the Party Committee and executive deputy mayor of Yiting Town. “In the next step, Yiting will accelerate the clearing work for the first phase of the Jingao Technology Project.
