In order to guarantee that the masses can safely and securely eat agricultural products, staff in Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center, Municipal Agricultural and Rural Bureau came to Zhalin Village One, Dachen Town for the implementation of detection and spot inspection for agricultural products on March 11, to further strengthen safety source management of edible agricultural products, provide rapid detection technology training of aquatic products for detection personnel in Dachen and assist town street with quality safety of aquatic products.

On that day, staff went deep into the production base to randomly extract samples of agricultural products such as strawberry, green vegetables and flowering cabbage etc. for rapid pesticide residue detecting. On detection room site, staff meticulously operated rapid pesticide residue detector, with each operation procedure linked to ensure detection data accurate and effective.

It is understood that “Level III detection system” is a kind of rapid detection system for agricultural products composed of municipal agricultural detection room, town-street agricultural detection room, and enterprise self-regulation agricultural detection room, where sample information, result and other data for each detection are uploaded to “Yiwu Agricultural Products Detection Data Center” in real time to realize the rapid and effective supervision on quality and safety of agricultural products.

Since January, more than 1500 batches of rapid detection have been completed by “level 3 detection system” and percent of pass for detection is 100%. Meanwhile, Municipal Agricultural and Rural Bureau has extracted 116 batches of samples from large-scale growers, retail growers and harmless base in the whole city for quantitative detection. Categories for extracted products including 85 batches of lettuce, cauliflower, hypsizygus marmoreus and other vegetables, 23 batches of strawberry and oranges and 8 batches of aquatic products.
