Recently, a batch of mails imported from Japan has been transported to Yiwu Airport on “Osaka-Yiwu” chartered air freight flight of EMS. It is reported that it is the first international air freight route for mails imported from Japan launched at Yiwu Airport. Moreover, Yiwu City has become the first city with port authority for imported mails in China.

In recent, it is hard to transport overseas mails to China, because of massive suspension or reduction of international flights arriving in and departing from China arising from COVID-19. EMS Yiwu branch has made full of its resource channel and actively established a new channel to transport mails imported from Japan under joint drives by Yiwu Customs, Yiwu Civil Aviation Administration, Yiwu Airport Company and other organizations based on original “Green Channel” for overseas donation of chartered “Osaka-Yiwu” air freight flight.
