A cargo train carrying 100 containers of daily necessities, clothing, toys, and other goods departed from the Yiwu West Railway Station on Dec 11, heading to the Beilun Port Station of the Ningbo Zhoushan Port.

The train is the third direct loading freight train from Yiwu to Ningbo Zhoushan Port and is scheduled on a weekly basis in the future.

Since the beginning of this year, the Yiwu West Railway has shipped a total of 80,754 containers through sea-rail intermodal trains, a year-on-year increase of 6.72 percent.
