There is another type of wind that is quite special, called the upwind, which can essentially be considered as an upward air current. It usually occurs in places like canyons and mountains.
Using a sniper scope with Mil-dot reticle, the distance from one elliptical dot (Mil) to another is 3.438 MOA (Marine Corps Standard, while the Army considers it to be 3.6 MOA).
Metaphorically speaking: if an enemy appears at the second Mil-dot scale from a distance of 1000 yards in the mirror, I can immediately tell the error to be about 35 inches, and I can adjust 14 times to achieve a shot.
