I. Dry powder fire extinguisher:
1. Dry powder storage pressure type fire extinguisher (portable) is powered by nitrogen to press dry powder out of the cylinder. It is suitable for fighting petroleum products, paints and organic solvent fires. It can suppress the chain reflection of combustion and put out fire. It is also suitable for extinguishing liquid, gas and electrical fires (dry powder has electrical insulation performance above 50,000V). Some can also save solid fires.
Dry powder fire extinguishers cannot save light metal burning fires.
When using, first pull out the insurance pin (some pull up the pull ring), and then press handle, the dry powder can be sprayed out.
When extinguishing fire, it should be close to flame ejaculation; The injection time of dry powder is short, and the injection target should be chosen before spraying. Because dry powder is easy to drift, it is not suitable to spray against the wind.

1. Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers all use carbon dioxide gas stored in high-pressure cylinders as fire extinguishing agent to put out fire. Carbon dioxide does not leave any trace after putting out fire, which is suitable for fighting valuable instruments and equipment, archives and computer indoor fires, it is non-conductive and suitable for fighting charged low voltage electric apparatus equipment and oil fires, but it cannot be used to fight potassium, sodium, magnesium, aluminum and other material fires.
When using, the duckbill-type one should first pull out the insurance pin and press down handle. The handwheel-type one should first remove the lead seal, then rotate the handwheel counterclockwise, and the medicine can be sprayed out. Note that fingers should not touch megaphone to prevent frostbite.
The range of carbon dioxide fire extinguisher is relatively close, and it should be close to burning point, spraying in the upwind direction.
