1. The method of selecting scissors

To ensure accurate cutting of two or more layers of fabric, one should choose a special pair of scissors. The most commonly used length is 24-28 centimeters, which is marked as No. 9, No. 10, No. 11, and No. 12. The key to identifying the quality of scissors is to focus on the cutting edge of the fabric. First, check that both blades are sharp, with the upper blade in a straight line and the lower blade slightly curved, and that the ends of both blades are level. Scissors that meet these conditions are relatively ideal.
