8.4.1Semi-trailer tractorThe body reflection identification should be set at the rear top of the cab to reflect the width and height of the cab.,Other trucks (except for multi-purpose trucks), special-purpose vehicles converted from truck chassis, and trailers (except for those with prescribed vehicle tail signs, special-purpose vehicles and trailers, and recreational trailers)Should set the body reflective markings at the rear.
The rear body reflective markings of a vehicle should be able to reflect the height and width of the rear part of the vehicle. For box trucks and trailers, the markings should be able to reflect the profile of the cargo compartment.When using first-level body reflective identification materials, the combined area with the rear reflector should be greater than or equal to 0.1m2. When using second-level body reflective identification materials, the combined area with the rear reflector should be greater than or equal to 0.2m2.
8.4.2All trucksExcept for semi-trailer tractor and multi-purpose trucks, special-purpose vehicles converted from truck chassis and trailers (except for recreational trailers) should have reflective markings on the sides. The length of the reflective markings on the sides should be greater than or equal to 50% of the vehicle's length. For three-wheeled vehicles, it should be greater than or equal to 1.2 meters. For special-purpose vehicles converted from truck chassis with non-continuous flat surfaces on the side of the body, the length should be greater than or equal to 30% of the vehicle's length. For trucks with a cargo box length less than 50% of the vehicle's length, the length should be the length of the cargo box.
