To strengthen its global presence, Yiwugo.com joined and supported the "Run with Yiwu-Global Youth Business Program" initiated by Yiwu Municipal Government, briefing young entrepreneurs on how Yiwugo.com works and what functions, features and partnerships it offers, and exposing them to more opportunities of cross-border e-commerce across Yiwu Market.
The Program aims to attract high-caliber talents from abroad to Yiwu to start business, share the benefits of local development and make the city an even stronger engine-driveninternational trade and e-commerce. The Program consists of three sessions a year for all participants to obtain knowledge on, among others, e-commerce and international trade, and engage in practical entrepreneurship projects in Yiwu.
Yiwu, where the world's largest physical market on daily consumer goods and the most energetic E-commerce network, sees an annual inflow of over 500,000 foreign businessmen. As the official online platform of Yiwu China Commodity City and one of the most influential online platforms of China's specialized physical markets, Yiwugo.com has undergone five years of steady progress. People from all around the world can get to know Yiwu Market through 360-degree panoramic presentation and establish contact with desired suppliers.
To implement the global strategy which came into full play in 2018, Yiwugo.com took on a new logo and domain name for an ease of understanding among foreigners at the beginning of the year. Acting as a middleman, the upgraded English website enables smart match-making between suppliers and purchasers based on big data analysis. It also established overseas service centers in 10 other countries like Brazil, Japan and Canadato increase the visibility of Yiwugo.com and offer supportive services to purchasers in the neighborhood.
All of its global efforts serve the purpose of facilitating cross-border trades - the very essential component young entrepreneurs from around the world would ask for.
It is reported that the first session of the program will last from April 9 to 15 which will include activities such as expert lectures on cross-border e-commerce, international trade, supply chain and other related topics; hands-on knowledge of start-ups; and field visits to the world's largest wholesale market and "Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe" Freight Train railway port . The trainees will get to know how grass-roots entrepreneurs developed their career as well as learn to immerse themselves in local traditional culture.
The Program enrolls candidates on a "first come first served" basis and selects them by certain criteria. The final trainees only have to manage their own transportation to and from Yiwu, while all courses will be offered at the expense of the organizer with accommodation and meals included.
