At 2:00 p.m. on July 3, flight ZA795 from Sihanoukville, Cambodia, arrived at Yiwu Airport, marking the launch of a new airline route for Yiwu. The Yiwu- Sihanoukville route is Yiwu's first international business flight.

        Ji Yumin, a supervisor of route development at the emergency management department of Yiwu Airport, commented that Sihanoukville, an economic and trade cooperation zone along the Belt and Road, is the busiest coastal port in Cambodia. It is rich in commerce, investment, and tourism resources. In recent years, Zhejiang businessmen have invested heavily in the project development of hotels and beach entertainment in Sihanoukville, so a large number of Zhejiang businessmen and workers travel to and from the city. The opening of the route will facilitate the travel of businessmen and tourists in the Mid-Zhejiang. In addition, for Yiwu as the largest commodities distribution center in the world, the flight will also help the city to attract more Cambodian residents to do business or travel in China.

        Yiwu Airport will maintain, operate, and develop this new route with competitive pricing policies and high-quality services.
