This is the first chartered flight for workers returning to Jinhua, and the costs were borne by the governments of both Hanzhong and Yiwu. Hanzhong is a city rich in human resources: currently, there are about 6,000 people from Hanzhong who work in Yiwu. To help them get back to work as soon as possible, a task force from Yiwu was dispatched to Hanzhong on February 16 to connect with the local government and human resources department. Hanzhong City responded quickly and immediately set up a working group headed by the director of the local Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.
For the past few days, the Yiwu task force and the Hanzhong working group have coordinated operations to engage with Yiwu companies to confirm their resumption of work. They also collected declarations of employment intent from Hanzhong workers and notified them by phone to assign seats on the chartered plane. To ensure that each migrant worker could travel smoothly, the working groups of the two sides are coordinating with the county and district offices to apply for health certificates for migrant workers and organize vehicles to help them transfer from villages, towns, and counties to Hanzhong Airport.
