Recently, Yiwu released the Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Development of 5G Industry. This year, it plans to spread 5G network coverage to Yiwu City.

　　According to the Implementation Opinions, this year, 5G network coverage will be realized in the main urban area, professional park, town and street center area, forming 5G demonstration area of key areas (such as International and Commercial Trade City, hospital, Expo Center and Yiwu Port) and key industries (such as industrial manufacturing, e-commerce and logistics), to meet the needs of regional network construction, performance and application. The number of 5G macro site constructions has reached 1800. In 2021, 5G network will be extended to rural areas, basically covering towns, streets and administrative villages. The number of 5G macro site constructions will reach 3000, accelerating the construction of 5G leading cities in Zhejiang Province.

　　By 2022, Yiwu City's 5G and related digital economy industry scale will reach 1 billion yuan, and it will cultivate a batch of 5G scale enterprises, and build more than one 5G industrial cluster.
