The 17th National Wedding Supplies, Celebration Supplies, Artificial Flowers and Decoration Props (Yiwu) Trade Fair, also known as the Artificial Flowers Fair, kicked off on Feb 21 at the Yiwu International Expo Center.
This year's trade fair was expanded from three to four exhibition halls with a total of 1,600 international standard booths, attracting 586 companies. Many well-known brands and original manufacturers in the fields of simulation plants, flowers, and wedding props from all over the country came. The pre-registered audience exceeded 20,000 people before the three-day exhibition.
The trade fair, which has been held for 16 years, has attracted over 5,000 exhibitors and millions of professional visitors. It is the first wedding prop exhibition in China to be officially certified by the UFI International Exhibition Association.
Simulation flowers have become increasingly popular in the market due to their lifelike appearance, durability, flexibility, and ease of transportation and storage. The trade fair has also attracted many foreign buyers.
A Jordanian buyer who has been in China for 25 years visited the fair with a group of three expats. They made deals worth 50,000 yuan ($7,251.77) on the morning of the first day.
This is Yiwu's first onsite exhibition this year. The city will host eight trade fairs in the next two months, including the 30th Yiwu Homeware Expo.
