Warm Tip: The odor of down sleeping bags is a normal phenomenon and has nothing to do with the quality of the sleeping bag. This is because down is an organic material containing protein, and it will develop an odor when it gets wet or after a long time, especially when it gets hot. Even the best down cannot avoid this. (Note: No odor at all does not mean pure down. The simplest and most effective way to remove the odor: 1, hang to air 2, sunbathe.
Please be cautious when taking photos if you are allergic to down, thank you!!
The most reassuring and cost-effective way to wash a sleeping bag after use is to do it at home. Here are the cleaning steps and precautions:
1. Soak the sleeping bag in warm water, please do not make the water temperature higher than 30 degrees Celsius.
2. Use a special cleaning agent for feathers.
3. Please gently rub and pat, do not twist.
4. After washing, please rinse thoroughly with clean water until all soap foam is removed.
5. After rinsing, slightly press out the water, and lay the sleeping bag flat on a well-ventilated place to "air-dry".
6. During the drying process, please constantly turn the sleeping bag to avoid the feathers or various synthetic fibers from knotting, which may affect the puffiness of the sleeping bag.
7. After processing, the sleeping bag can be returned to the storage bag or the closet for storage, eagerly anticipating the arrival of the next vacation!
8. Maintenance: When the weather is good, you should turn the sleeping bag over and expose it to the sun for 1 hour.
9. Safety: Most sleeping bags are flammable and should not come into contact with sparks. Use them with caution to prevent fire and keep them away from water sources.
10. When not in use, store the sleeping bag in a dry closet, not rolled up in a bag, and try to minimize the time it is compressed into a ball.
