2.Setting explain

1.Mount the motor:Install the glaze machine (see the figure1）

Install the motor on the transom of the boat. Be sure to tighten the clamp screws securely.

Install the electric sizing machine on the component stop at the stern of the ship, and securely tighten the screw on the multi-functional mounting bracket.

2.Depth adjustment:Height adjustment of the electric sizing machine (see figure)1）

Grasp the steel shaft firmly and hold it steady, loosen the steering tension knob and depth collar knob until the shaft slides freely. Raise or lower the motor to the desired depth, tighten the depth collar knob to secure the motor in place.

Grasp the directional rotation axis firmly, loosen the tension control knob, andDepth Adjustment BuckleThe directional rotation axis can slide freely. Raise or lower the height of the electric sizing machine to the appropriate height and tighten it.Depth Adjustment Buckle.

Note:When setting the depth, be sure to submerge the top of the motor at least 12 inches to avoid churning or agitation of the surface water. The propeller must be completely submerged.

1.Steering adjustment:Adjustment of the height position of the electric sizing machine (see figure)1）

Adjust the steering tension knob to provide enough tension to allow the motor to turn freely, yet remain in any position without being held or.

You can lock your motor in a vertical position, angle it for shallow water or tilt it completely out of the water. Firmly grasp the control head or steel shaft.

3.TWIST TILLERHand wheel for turning operation (see figure)2）

These motors offer a choice of five forward and three reverse speeds. The speed control may be operated in either direction, forward or reverse. Turn the tilt twist tiller handle counterclockwise from Off to increase reverse speed and clockwise from Off to increase forward speed. Thrust decreases as you approach O from either direction.The numbers printed on the twist grip handle represent a percentage of maximum thrust.

The motorized sizing machine offers five forward gears and three reverse gears. 10 LED lighted power indicator consists of three red LED and seven green LED. When the battery has 12 volts or more, all LEDs will shine. If the battery is equal to 95 volts, only the first red LED will light up. If the battery is less than 95 volts, all LEDs will be off. That is, each LED represents the battery's loss of 0.1 volt.25 volt Stopped using the trolling motor and recharging the battery when only the red LED is shining. 6. BATTERY INFORMATION:Battery Instructions

These motors can operate with any 12 volt battery. For best results, use a battery with at least a 105 ampere hour rating. As a general estimate on the water, your 12 volt motor will draw one ampere per hour for each pound of thrust produced when the motor is running on high. The actual ampere draw is subject to your particular environmental conditions and operation requirements.Proper care will ensure having battery power when you need it and will significantly improve the battery life. Failure to recharge lead-acid batteries within 12 to 24 hours is the leading cause of premature battery failure. For best results, use a variable rate charger to avoid overcharging.

Motor-driven sizing machine uses12VBattery as the power source, it is recommended to use a capacity of105AmpereSlashThe battery for an hour. 7. BATTERY CONNECTION:Battery Connection (See Figure)4）

12 Volt System

a. Connect the positive (+) red lead to the positive (+) battery terminal.

b. Connect the negative (-) black lead to the negative (-) battery terminal.

Connect the red wire (positive) to the positive terminal of the battery.

8. WARNING:Warning

.BEFORE CONNECTING BATTERY, MAKE SURE THE TWIST TILLER HANDLE IS IN THE OFF POSITION.

. USE 6 GAUGE WIRE TO EXTEND POWER LEAD.

.Keep the leadwire connection tight and solid to the battery terminals.

When connecting the battery wires, it is very important to note that the hand wheel is in the ' 'position.0"(Disconnected) Position;

Confirm that the connection between the wires and the battery terminals is tight and secure.

The storage battery should be placed in a ventilated compartment.

9. PROPELLER REPLACEMENT:The replacement of the propeller (see the figure)5）

. Hold the propeller and loosen the prop nut with a pliers or a wrench.

. Remove the prop nut and washer. If the drive pin is sheared/broken, you will need to hold the slot on the end of the shaft.

. Turn the old prop to horizontal (as illustrated) and pull it straight off, If the drive pin falls out, push it back in.

. Align the new propeller with the drive pin.

. Install the prop washer and prop nut.

. Tighten the prop nut by 1/4 turn until it feels snug. (25—35 inch lbs.) Be careful, over tightening can damage the prop.

Grip the electric spinning machine with a vise or wrench to loosen the tightened nut.

Remove the nuts and washers (if the key pin has broken or is damaged), and you can use a screw pin to press into the key hole at the end of the shaft to lock and fix the shaft;

10. MAINTENANCE:Maintenance and Maintenance

1.This series of motors is not equipped for salt water exposure.

2.The propeller must be cleaned of weeds and fishing line. Line can get behind the prop, wear away the seals and allow water to enter the motor. Disconnect battery and check this after every 20 hours of operation.

3.To prevent accidental damage during trailering or storage, disconnect the battery whenever the motor is off of the water. For prolonged storage, lightly coat all metal parts with silicone spray.

4.For maximum performance, restore battery to full charge before each use.

5.If the edge of the propeller is rough or nicked, restore it to a smooth surface by sanding with fine sandpaper.

5If you find that the edge of the propeller is becoming rough or has a gap, you can use a good quality sandpaper to polish it to restore its smoothness.

11. CAUTION:

Please disconnect the motor from the battery before beginning any prop work or maintenance.

Note: Before maintaining or operating the electric sizing machine, the motor must be disconnected from the battery.~Exclamation mark!

12. TROUBLESHOOTING:Faults and Maintenance

1. Engine fails to start or lacks power.The motor does not rotate or there is no power.

. Check battery connections for proper polarity.Check the polarity of the battery to ensure it is connected correctly.

. Ensure that the terminals are clean and corrosion-free. Use fine sandpaper or emery cloth to clean both terminals.

Confirm that the terminal is clean and free of rust, and use.Clean the two terminals of the battery with good quality sandpaper or diamond sandpaper.

. Check battery wear level. Add water if needed.Check the electrolyte level in the battery and add sufficient electrolyte if necessary.

. Check propeller for line or weeds. Check for any foreign objects or aquatic plants wrapped around the propeller.

2.Motor loses power after a short running time:  The motor is powered on for a short time and then turned off.

. Check battery charge, if low, restore to full charge.  Check the battery charge capacity, and if it is insufficient, please charge it fully before using.

3. The motor is difficult to steer.Electric sizing machine is difficult to operate

. Loosen the steering tension knob on the bracket. Release and adjust the tension clamp on the multi-function mounting bracket to the appropriate tension.
