Read this manual carefully before operation your new NERAUS trolling motor. Retain for future reference.

In operating the new Le boat with an electric hanging machine Please read this manual carefully, and keep it for future reference.

1.Part & function (see figure 6 )

2.Setting explain

1. Mount the motor: Installation hangs machine (see figure1)

Install the motor on the transom of the boat. Be sure to tighten the clamp screws securely.

Hanging machine installed at the stern of the electric components and versatile reliable fastening of the screw on the mounting bracket.

2. Depth adjustment: Hang electric height adjustment of the machine (see figure1)

Firmly grasp the steel shaft and hold it steady,loosen the steering tension knob and depth collar knob until the shaft slides freely. Raise or lower the motor to the desired depth,tighten depth collar knob to secure the motor in place.

Firmly seize the direction of rotating shaft, loosen the tension knobs and depth adjustable buckle direction axis can slide freely. Raise or lower the motor hanging height of the machine to make it to a suitable height and tighten thedepth adjustment buckle.

Note: When setting the depth be sure the top of the motor is submerged at least 12" to avoid churning or agitation of surface water. The propeller must be completely submerged.

Note: when adjusting the electric hanging machine height, should ensure that the electric hanging pulp machine at the top of submerged at least 30 cm, while ensuring the propeller fully submerged in water in order to avoid surface waters has whirlpool or strong agitation.

CAUTION: Never operate your motor when it is out of the water!

Warning: do not use an electric hanging machine running out of water!

1. Steering adjustment:electric hanging machine height adjustment (see figure1)

Adjust the steering tension knob to provide enough tension to allow the motor to turn freely, yet remain in any position without being held or;

Multifunctional mounting bracket above the tension buckles adjust to proper tension, so electric hanging pulp function easily turning operation.

Tighten the knob and lock the motor in a preset position to leave your hands free for fishing.

Keeping one hand on the rudder of the buckle and tighten the bolts to keep hanging electric machine in your height tempered, so your hands can be free to go fishing.

2. Bracket adjustment: 多功能安装支架（见图1）

You can lock your motor in a vertical position,angle it for shallow water or tilt it completely out of the water. Firmly grasp the control head or steel shaft.

You can be in regulating electric multifunctional mounting bracket hanging height of the machine so as to adapt to different depths, you can also press and hold the quick tilt away from the Shui Suokou and steel rotated shaft causes the electric hanging machine tilted completely out of water.

WARNING: When raising/lowering motor or operating the tilt mechanism,keep fingers clear of all hinge and pivot points and all moving parts.

Note: the motor hangs machine in operation up / down or tilt and completely away from the water, be sure to keep the pivot of all joints and clean.

3. TWIST TILLERrudder twist hand (see figure2)

These motors offer a choice of five forward and three reverse speeds. The speed control may be operated in either direction, forward or reverse. Turn the tilt twist tiller handle counterclockwise from O(off) to increase reverse speed and clockwise from O(off) to increase forward speed. Thrust decreases as you approach O from either direction. The numbers printed on the twist grip handle represent a percentage of maximum thrust.

Washer provides five gear motor forward and three back positions. Speed control can be achieved either forward or backward operation. 6. 10 LED Lighted power Indicator10power supply capacity of the cursor indicator (see figure3)

10 LED lighted power indicator are consist of three red LED and seven green LED,then the battery with 12 volt or more all LED lighted will shine; then the battery equate 9.5 volt only the first red LED lighted shine; then the battery less than 9.5 volt the all LED lighted will be off. That is each LED means the battery lossed 0.25 volt. Stopped use the trolling motor and recharging the battery when only red LED shine,if use it unceasingly the battery will beyond retrieve.

10 cursor power capacity indicator consists of three red high brightness light emitting diodes and seven green high brightness light emitting diodes. Dangbattery voltage greater than or equal to12VShi, ten LEDs only light when the battery voltage is equal to9.5VShi, only the bottom one red LED light and when the battery voltage is below9.5VShi, all the LEDs are lit every drop段意味着电压下降0.25V。 Only the redlight emitting diode lights up, please recharge, do not use any longer. 6.BATTERY INFORMATION: battery description

These motors will operate with any 12 volt battery. For best results, use a battery with at least a 105 ampere hour rating. As a general on the water estimate, your 12 volt motor will draw one ampere per hour for each pound of thrust produced when the motor is running on high. The actual ampere draw is subject to your particular environmental conditions and operation requirements. Proper care will ensure having battery power when you need it, and will significantly improve the batter life. Failure to recharge lead-acid batteries (within 12-24 hours) is the leading cause of premature battery failure. For best results,use a variable rate charger to avoid overcharging.

Motor hangs machine using 12V battery as the power source, recommended capacity of 105 amps / hour battery. Under normal circumstances, hang Motors machines working at very high speed in the water, the energy consumption for1-pound-thrust/ampere hours, of course, reality will be associated with your use and the environment. Proper maintenance will help you get all the power, while also extending battery life. Inappropriately to acid-lead battery will cause battery damage, preferably using pulse current of the charger in order to prevent overcharging of the battery.

7.BATTERY CONNECTION: battery connections (see figure 4 )

12 Volt System

a. Connect the positive(+) red lead to the positive(+) battery terminal.

b. Connect the negative (-) black lead to the negative(-) battery terminal.

8. WARNING:warning

. BEFORE CONNECTINGBATTERY, MAKE SURE THE TWIST TILLER HANDLE IS IN THE OFF POSTION.

. USE 6 GAUGE WIRE TO EXTEND POWER LEAD.

. KEEP LEADWIRE CONNECTION TIGHT AND SOLID TOBATTERYTERMINALS.

. LOCATEBATTERYIN A VENTIATED COMPARTMENT.

When you connect the battery wires, be sure to hand the rudder is in the 0 (disconnected);

If you use an extension cord, you should choose the 6 wires;

Confirm the connection wires connected to the battery terminals are tight, firm;

Ventilation of the battery should be placed in the compartment.

9.PROPELLER REPLACEMENT: propeller replacement (see figure 5 )

. Hold the propeller and loosen the prop nut with a pliers or a wrench.

. Remove prop nut and washer. If the drive pin is sheared/broken, you will need to hold the slot on the end of the shaft.

. Turn the old prop to horizontal( as illustrated ) and pull it straight off, If drive pin falls out, push it back in.

. Align new propeller with drive pin.

. Install prop washer and prop nut.

. Tighten prop nut 1/4 turn past snug. (25—35 inch lbs.) Be careful, over tightening can damage prop.

Hold hanging electric machine using pliers or wrench to loosen the fastening nut;

Remove nut and gasket (if Cotter has been broken or damaged), you can use a screw pin onto shaft ends in the key hole to reach the jammed shaft;

Turning propellers to a horizontal position, remove it from the motor broke off, (if the key pins fall, then it should be placed in their original positions );

New propeller mounted Cotter and packed nuts and washers;

Tighten the screw on the nut and then tighten 1/4 ring (approximately 25~35 pounds / inches of torque)

10.MAINTENANCE: Maintenance

1. This series of motors is not equipped for salt water exposure.

2. The propeller must be cleaned of weeds and fishing line. Line can get behind the prop, wear away the seals and allow water to enter the motor. Disconnect battery and check this after every 20 hours of operation.

3. To prevent accidental damage during trailering or storage, disconnect the battery whenever the motor is off of the water. For prolonged storage, lightly coat all metal parts with silicone spray.

4. For maximum performance,restore batteryto full charge before each use.

5. If this edge of propeller is rough or nicked, restore to smooth by sanding with fine sandpaper

4 , in order to achieve the best results, every time every time you use electric hung machine before the battery is fully charged.

5 , if you find the propeller edges rough or chips, you can use fine sandpaper, to its sleek.

11. CAUTION:

DISCONNECT THE MOTOR FROM THEBATTERYBEFORE BEGINNING ANYPROP WORK OR MAINTENANCE.

Note: electric hanging machine motor must be disconnected from the battery before maintenance or work ~ !

12.TROUBLESHOOTING: faults and maintenance

1.Motor fails to run or lacks power: Motor does not turn or is out of power

. Check battery connections for proper polarity. Check the battery polarity is connected properly;

. Make sure terminals are clean and corrosion free. Use fine sandpaper or emery cloth to clean both terminals.

. Check battery ware level. Add water if needed. Check the battery fluid level, if necessary, add appropriate amount of electrolytes;

. Check propeller for line or weeds.  Check whether the propeller behind the debris or weeds wrapped;

2.Motor loses power after a short running time:   Motor running for a short time after power failure;

. Check battery charge, if low, restore to full charge.   Check the battery charge capacity, if not please fill and use;

3.Motor is hard to steer. Electric hanging pulp machine cannot be operated

. Loosen the steering tension knob on the bracket.  Multifunctional mounting bracket loosen and adjust the upper tension buckles adjust to proper tension

. Lubricate the steel shafl. Steel shaft to add lubricating oils
