5 Steps to Perfect Nail Polish Application

Step 1: Apply base oil. Base oil helps maintain the color of nail polish longer and prevents pigmentation. When applying the base oil, follow the order of painting from the middle to both sides. There are different types of base oils, such as calcium-based and strengthening types.

Step 2: Apply the color. Move quickly while applying the nail polish, using three strokes to complete it. Start from the middle of the nail root and apply the color toward the tip until it reaches the end. When brushing the color, keep the nail brush slightly away from the soft skin area to avoid getting the color on the soft skin. Generally, the nail polish starts to peel off from the top of the nail, so applying the nail brush to the top part of the nail can prevent this from happening.
