Function Introduction:
Oblique knife: The blade has a 45-degree bevel angle, mainly used for the main carving of rubber stamping.
角刀:The blade is triangular in shape, as its sharp edge is located on both sides, the sharpest point is at the center of the angle. When carving rubber stamps, the angle knife is most suitable for engraving lines, which is more time-saving and labor-saving than the pen knife. Since the angle knife is in the shape of a V, the lines carved will vary in thickness due to the different force and depth of the knife, with thicker lines for deeper cuts and thinner lines for shallower cuts.
圆刀(丸刀):The cutting edge is arc-shaped and is often used for circular and concave circular indentations. The circular knife is more convenient to use when cutting horizontally, and it can adapt to large undulations and small changes. In rubber carving, it is mainly used for carving the central pattern of many large-area perforations.
Plain knife:Mainly to repair the bottom of the soon-to-be-completed seal, carving off the waste material specially, so that the bottom of the seal remains flat. Trim the edges and planes of the rubber seal.
圆刀:The cutting edge is arc-shaped and is often used for circular and concave circular indentations.
Plain knife:The cutting edge is straight and flat, mainly used for chopping, planing, and leveling the uneven surfaces of wood to make them smooth and without any traces.
Oblique knife: The blade has an angle of about 45 degrees, mainly used for the joint corners and the narrow gaps of the hollowed-out parts to trim and polish.
Jade Graceful Knife:Commonly known as 'monk's head' and 'butterfly chisel', the blade edge is curved, and it is a polishing knife that lies between a round knife and a flat knife, divided into two types: circular and oblique. When a flat knife and a round knife cannot be used, they can be used to complete the task. The feature is relatively gentle, neither as straight as a flat knife nor as deep as a round knife, suitable for use on undulating concave surfaces.
China Steel KnifeThe cutting edge is straight with an inclination on both sides. It is also known as 'printing knife'. Traditional carving believes that the center steel knife blade is straight in the middle, which can maintain the sharpness and straightness when making a mold, and it allows the surrounding parts to remain unaffected by vibration. The center steel knife is also used for engraving patterns and patterns on characters' clothing and props.
Triangle knife:The blade edge is triangular, as its sharp edge is on both sides, the sharpest point is at the center angle. The larger the angle, the thicker the lines carved, and vice versa. The triangular knife is mainly used for carving hair and decorative lines, and it is also a common tool in woodblock printing and woodcut art for making plates. When operating, the tip of the triangular knife is pushed forward on the woodboard, and the wood chips spit out from the triangular groove. The parts pushed by the triangular knife tip will be engraved with lines.
