Network Cable Test
1. Push the switch to the middle right to turn on the power, and the working status indicator will start blinking continuously.
2. Insert the network cable into the network port of the main machine and the remote machine respectively.
3. The indicator lights of the host and the remote machine flash rapidly from 1-8 in turn.
4. When the switch is set to the far right, the indicator lights up slowly from 1 to 8 in sequence.
5. Move the switch to the far left to turn off the power and stop the test.
Telephone Line Testing
1. Push the switch to the middle right to turn on the power, and the working status indicator will start blinking continuously.
2. Insert the phone line plug into the voice port of the main machine head and the remote machine tail.
3. The indicator lights on the host and the remote machine flash rapidly from 3-4 in sequence.
4. When the switch is set to the far right, the indicator lights up slowly from 3-4 in sequence.
5. Move the switch to the far left to turn off the power and stop the test.
If the wiring is abnormal, the following conditions will be displayed:
1. When a network cable/phone line 3rd line is broken, the main machine and remote machine 3rd indicator lights will not light up.
2. If there are any lines that are not connected, none of the lines will light up. If there are fewer than 2 wires connected to the network, the indicator lights will not light up.
3. When the two network cables/phone lines are out of order, for example, the 2nd and 4th lines are out of order, the indicator lights of the main and remote machines will display the following sequence:
Main tester remains: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G
Remote tester is: 1-4-3-2-5-6-7-8-G
4. When there is a short circuit in two wires of the network, the host's indicator light remains unchanged, while the indicator lights for the two wires corresponding to the short circuit on the remote machine flicker faintly.
If there are more than three wires (including three) short-circuited, then all the indicator lights for the short-circuited wires will be off.
