Welding gloves are gloves worn by welding workers during work, designed to provide safety and comfort for the workers. Currently, they are mainly made from natural leathers such as cow second skin, cow head skin, pigskin, and sheepskin.

Due to the differences in welding types, the impact on welders may vary, so welding gloves can be roughly divided into two categories based on the type of welding:
This type of welding involves a pliers holding a weld rod. There is a lot of high-temperature spatter in this process. Therefore, gloves are usually Gari double-layered ones, and the length is also over 35CM.
2.Argon arc welding gloves
There is little welding spatter, but the temperature is high, the radiation is strong, and the welding wire is relatively thin. Therefore, these gloves feel quite different.

Precautions
During the use of gloves, pay attention to the following 10 points
1.Use gloves suitable for various work environments. The size of the gloves should be appropriate—if too tight, it restricts blood flow and causes discomfort; if too loose, they are not flexible to use and are prone to falling off.
2. The gloves selected must provide adequate protection. In environments requiring steel-reinforced anti-cut gloves, synthetic yarn-based anti-cut gloves should not be used. To ensure the protective function, gloves must be replaced regularly. If the expiration date is exceeded, it may cause harm to the hands or skin.
3. Regularly inspect the gloves to check for holes, damage, or erosion, especially at the seams. For chemical-resistant gloves, an inflation test can be used for inspection.
4. Be aware of the usage scenarios for gloves; using a pair of gloves in different environments may significantly reduce their lifespan.
5.Be careful during use; do not discard contaminated gloves randomly to avoid causing harm to others. Unused gloves should be stored in a safe place.
6.Be sure to follow the correct method when removing gloves to prevent any substances on the gloves from contacting the skin and clothing, which could lead to secondary contamination.
7. It is best not to share gloves with others, as the interior of gloves serves as a breeding ground for bacteria and microorganisms, and sharing gloves can easily lead to cross-infection.
8. Wash your hands thoroughly before wearing gloves. Wear the gloves on clean (sterile) hands, otherwise bacteria can easily grow. After removing the gloves, wash your hands again and apply some hand cream to replenish moisture.
9.Cover the wound before wearing gloves; skin is a natural barrier against external harm and can prevent bacteria and chemicals from entering.
10.Do not overlook any skin redness or itching, to prevent skin diseases such as dermatitis. If your hands experience dryness, stinging itching, or bubbles, seek medical attention promptly.
