One,   Safety Hat Related Standards

   ★The procurement of safety helmets: enterprises must purchase products with product inspection certificates, and only after the purchased products are inspected, can they be used.

   ★Safety helmets should not be stored in places with acid, alkali, high temperature, direct sunlight, or high humidity, and they should not be kept with hard objects.

   ★The service life of a safety helmet: from the date of product manufacture.

   The plant branch hat is not allowed to exceed two years.

Plastic caps and paper adhesive caps are valid for no more than two and a half years.

Fiberglass (Vinyl Steel) rubber caps are not allowed to exceed three and a half years.

   ★The enterprise's safety and technology department shall conduct random inspection tests on the expired safety helmets in accordance with Article 11.3 of the regulations. Only after passing the test can they be used again. Subsequent annual inspection tests are required once a year. If the inspection test is unsuccessful, the entire batch of safety helmets will be deemed obsolete.

 ★The provincial and municipal labor authorities should supervise and urge the enterprise's technical safety department to inspect the expired safety helmets, and only after passing the inspection can they be used.

Section Two: Structural Form Requirements for Safety Helmets

   ★The top of the hat shell should be strengthened. It can be made into a smooth top or a ribbed structure. The hat shell can be made without a brim, with a brim, or with a rolled edge.

   ★The plastic hat liner should be constructed with a rear band that allows for free adjustment of the hat size (including pull-and-adjust, button adjustment, and rotary adjustment, etc.).

   ★The chin strap with no back stay is made into an 'Y' shape, and those with a back stay are allowed to be made as a single piece.

   ★The headband that contacts the forehead should be breathable and sweat-absorbing.

   ★The padding around the hatband can be made into strips or blocks, and there should be space to allow air to circulate.

   ★The manufacturers of safety helmets must strictly adhere to the national standards of GB2811-2007 in the production process.

   ★Y-class safety helmets are not allowed to be subjected to lateral pressure, as Y-class safety helmets are only designed to protect against the harm caused by direct upward impacts, and they are not capable of withstanding pressure from the side.
