       Bird-proof nets are designed for preventing bird damage in orchards, ponds, gardens, and vegetable gardens. When users first install and use them, they are sure to encounter problems, such as how to lay the net, what is the height of the setup, how to fix it, how to retrieve it, and how to improve the service life, etc. The following is the experience summarized by veteran users, collected by our site, and any deficiencies are welcome to be pointed out.
1. How to lay a net
The bird-proof netting usually comes in bundles and is first opened and straightened. The width is usually determined after the first step of unrolling the net, whether it is the net with no edges or the net with edges.
Large birdproof nets require a lot of manpower, and I haven't thought of a good way to deal with this yet. It is important to note that during the laying of the net, one should not be in a hurry to avoid tearing the net. Of course, when purchasing the net, one should choose a net with thicker thread, but also consider the cost, as the heavier the thread, the higher the cost will be. The nets produced by our factory have moderate thread, and as long as they are not pulled hard, they will not break.
There is another thing to note when purchasing, and that is the actual length and width of the net. The length and width indicated on the packaging are the theoretical dimensions of the machine, not the actual dimensions. During actual use, factors such as human error and net laying techniques can affect the length and width of the net. How do you calculate the actual length and width used? Based on our factory's practice and user feedback, multiply the theoretical length and width by a coefficient (0.6-0.7), and this will not result in a significant difference. (This coefficient is only applicable to the bird-proof nets produced by Shandong Shengyuan Bird-proof Net Factory).
Section Two: Height of Erection
When laying the net, it needs to be supported with long bamboo poles (not including greenhouses), to avoid the fruit tree branches entangling the net, affecting its use.
If the net is to be recovered after the use period, the height of the setup can be adjusted as needed for convenience in installation. If the net is not to be recovered after the use period, it should be raised as much as possible to prevent branches from catching the net, which could cause trouble for pruning and other work and is also not conducive to the protection of the net.
Three, how to fix it?
If you are buying a net with edges (edges are usually woven with thick silk threads, and the edges of our factory are green), it is easier to identify. Just thread the nylon rope through and pull it open to install it. If there are no edges, you can also thread the line, or you can directly use soil or stones to fix it to the ground.
How to set the net
Netting is as labor-intensive as setting a net, and the key is to be careful. If it gets caught, don't pull too hard.
Section Five: How to Increase Service Life
This is usually something that can be thought of. One is to raise the height of the net slightly to avoid entanglement with branches; the other is to recover the net at the end of its use.
The birdproof net produced by our factory can last more than 3 years under normal outdoor use. If the area is large, it is recommended not to collect the net, as the labor cost is not small. For small areas, it is best to recover the net to extend its service life.
