Wrinkling Correction and Pressure Regulation
On the machine, you can see two spring-loaded cross-shaped screws at the ends of the rubber rollers. These two screws are used to adjust the pressure at the ends of the corresponding rollers, maintaining a balance. By rotating the screws clockwise with a cross-shaped screwdriver, you increase the pressure on the ends of the rollers, and vice versa, counterclockwise rotation reduces the pressure.
The machine is calibrated with pressure when it is shipped from the factory, and it can generally be used directly. However, it is possible that the pressure balance may be disrupted by transportation vibrations, which could lead to tiny air bubbles appearing on one side of the peritoneum or to creasing on the side with insufficient pressure. In this case, it is necessary to adjust the pressure.
When the peritoneum wrinkles, don't panic. Observe the film at both ends of the roller. If both ends are relaxed, it's because the temperature is too high. Please reduce the preheating temperature or the peritoneum temperature. If only one end is relaxed, the pressure on this end of the roller is less than the other end. You can increase the pressure on this end of the roller or reduce the pressure on the other end of the roller.
Pressure regulation should follow the principle of 'slow adjustment and multiple times', without removing the pre-coated film. When adjusting the temperature back to 60 degrees Celsius, it is best to adjust one turn at a time, then coat a few films and test them until the problem is solved.
