Maintenance of Hot Water Bottles: Hot water bottles made of rubber are commonly used health care items. When using and storing them, the following points should be noted:
1. Hot water bottles should not be filled with boiling water, and the optimal water temperature is 80-90°C. Filling with boiling water frequently will accelerate the aging of the gel, shortening its service life. 2. Cover the hot water bottle with a cloth bag, which makes it less hot and easier to clean. It can also reduce the chance of exposure to sunlight and contact with air, extending the service life.
3. Avoid contact with acids, bases, and oil-based substances. If these substances are contaminated, immediately wipe them clean.
4. If the hot water bottle is dirty on the surface, it can be washed with clean water, but it should not be washed with soap water. After washing, wipe it dry with a cloth. Do not place it next to the fire to avoid aging, cracking, hardening, and losing elasticity, which will reduce its usefulness.
5. When not in use, blow some air into the bag to prevent the rubber from sticking together; you can also fill it with cold water, seal it tightly, and hang it upside down in a shady and well-ventilated place. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent cracks and hardening.
