Adhesive tape storage, transportation, and maintenance of use
1. Adhesive tape should be stored in the warehouse to avoid direct sunlight and rain; it is prohibited to contact with acid, alkali, oil, and organic solvents. It should be kept clean and dry, and kept at least 1m away from the production equipment. The room temperature should be between -15℃ and 40℃.
2. Adhesive tape should be stored in rolls, not folded, and should be turned over once every season if stored for a long time.
3. When handling the conveyor belt, it is best to use a crane and a crossbeam to safely lift it, to avoid damage to the edge of the belt. Do not rough-handling, which may cause the belt to loosen or unwind.
4. The type and specification of the tape should be selected reasonably according to the needs and specific conditions of the use.
5. It is not permitted to connect (combine) different varieties, different specifications, models, strengths, and layers of adhesive tapes together for use.
6. The conveyor belt joints are best to adopt hot sulfur curing bonding to improve reliability and maintain a high effective strength.
7. The diameter of the conveyor's conveying rollers and the minimum diameter of the conveyor belt's drive wheel should comply with relevant regulations.
8. Do not allow the tape to snake or crawl, and maintain the flexibility of the drag roll and the stand-up roll. The tension should be moderate.
9. When the conveyor is equipped with shields and cleaning devices, it should be avoided to wear the belt.
10. Cleanliness is a basic condition for the good operation of the tape, and foreign substances can affect the tape's eccentricity, tension differences, and even cause breaks.
