Section Three: The Principles of Perkins Generators
In the cylinder of a diesel engine, the clean air filtered through the air filter is fully mixed with the high-pressure atomized diesel injected from the injector. Under the compression of the piston, the volume shrinks and the temperature rapidly increases, reaching the ignition point of diesel. The diesel is ignited, and the mixture of gases undergoes intense combustion, causing the volume to rapidly expand, pushing the piston downward, which is known as 'work'. The cylinders work in sequence, and the force applied to the piston is transformed into power to rotate the crankshaft by the connecting rod, thereby driving the crankshaft to rotate. By installing the brushless synchronous AC generator coaxially with the crankshaft of the diesel engine, the rotation of the diesel engine can drive the rotor of the generator. By utilizing the principle of 'electromagnetic induction', the generator will output induced electric potential, and with a closed load circuit, current will be generated.
