Floats are an indispensable tool for learning swimming. In professional training, floats are used as an important auxiliary tool for separate practice of hand movements and leg movements. With the help of floats, one can better feel the essential movements of each stroke, especially the practice of leg movements. In some beginner swimming competitions, even the float kick is one of the competition events.
This model is also available.It is not a life-saving device, but provides a certain amount of buoyancy for swimmers to practice swimming better. It is not designed to completely float a person, as if it were a boat. If it were, one would never learn to swim. Customers with such needs are requested to purchase a life preserver or a boat.
For different training focuses, float boards have different usage methods:
1. Grip the sides of the float with both hands at two-thirds of the float's side, stretch both hands straight, push the float out, and the head can be buried in the water. While performing leg movements, perform breathing exercises.
2. Grip the front end of the float with both hands, place both arms on the float, and keep the head above the water. This movement mainly focuses on the leg movements for strength training. Once proficient, this method can be used to practice the combination of waist movements and leg movements.
3. Place the float between your legs, mainly for freestyle and backstroke to practice hand movements. However, this method may be difficult to stabilize with a basic float, and it is recommended to use a more professional dual-purpose float or training board.
