Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) is a glycoprotein hormone secreted by the developing placenta shortly after

fertilization. In normal pregnancy, HCG can be detected in serum as early as 7 days following conception.

Period and peaking in the 30-200,000mIU/ml range by 10-12 weeks into pregnancy. The appearance of HCG

soon after conception and its subsequent rise in concentration during early gestational growth make it an excellent

marker the early detection of pregnancy.

[Test Procedure]

1. Remove the test midstream from the foil pouch and remove the cap.

2. Hold the midstream test by the Thumb Grip with the exposed Absorbent Tip pointing downward directly

urine stream for at least 3~5 seconds until it is thoroughly wet.

3. After removing the midstream test from urine, immediately replace the cap over the Absorbent Tip, lay

midstream test on a flat surface. Read results in 3~5 minutes.
