Casters are widely used in almost any industry. According to the needs of different industries, people constantly invent various casters, and there are about 150000 different Casters used in various industries all over the world.
 
The structure of casters is made of a single wheel mounted on the bracket, which is used for installation under the equipment to make it move freely. Casters are mainly divided into two categories:

There are a wide variety of single wheels of industrial casters, which vary in size, model, tire tread, etc. Choosing a suitable wheel depends on the following conditions:

I. How to choose appropriate wheels
 
1. Select wheel material: first consider the size of the road surface, obstacles, residual substances (such as iron filings and grease) on the use site, and the environmental conditions (such as high temperature, normal temperature or low temperature) and different conditions such as the weight that the wheel can carry to decide the appropriate wheel material. For example, rubber wheels cannot resist acid, grease and chemicals, while Super polyurethane wheels, high-strength polyurethane wheels, nylon wheels, steel wheels and high-temperature resistant wheels can be applied to different special environments.
 
2. Calculate the load capacity: in order to calculate the load capacity required by various casters, we must know the weight of transportation equipment, maximum load and the number of single wheels and Casters used. The load capacity required for a single wheel or Caster is calculated as follows:

4. Choice of wheel material soft and hard: Generally, there are nylon wheel, super polyurethane wheel, high strength polyurethane wheel, high strength artificial rubber wheel, iron wheel and inflating wheel. II. How to choose the appropriate wheel frame
 
1. Generally, when choosing a suitable wheel frame, first consider the weight carried by casters, such as supermarkets, schools, hospitals, office buildings, hotels and other places. Double rows of beads should be applied when moving or transporting frequently.
 
2. In factories, warehouses and other places, the goods are transported frequently and the load is heavy (each caster carries 280-420kg), then it is suitable to use thick steel plate (5-6mm) stamping hot forging and welding double row ball wheel frame.
 
3. If it is used to carry heavy objects such as textile factories, automobile factories, machinery factories and other places, due to the heavy load and the long walking distance in the factory (each caster carries 350-1200kg), therefore, the wheel frame welded after cutting with thick steel plate (8-12mm) should be selected. The movable wheel frame uses plane ball bearing and ball bearing on the base plate, so that the casters can bear heavy load and rotate flexibly, anti-impact and other functions.
 
III. Select suitable bearings
 
1. Telling bearing: telling is a special engineering plastic, which is suitable for wet and corrosive places, with general flexibility of rotation and high resistance.
 
2. Roller bearing: the roller bearing after heat treatment can carry heavy load, and the flexibility of rotation is general.
 
3. Ball bearing: the ball bearing made of high quality bearing steel can carry heavy load and is suitable for occasions requiring flexible and quiet rotation.
 
4. Surface bearing: suitable for high and ultra-high load and high rotating speed occasions.
