Of course, each printing method has its advantages. Umbrellas printed by silk screen printing are relatively inexpensive, with low volume requirements, but there are some limitations in color. If there are many colors, a large printing area, or gradient color effects, it becomes more challenging. However, with continuous improvements in silk screen printing technology, full-color printing is now possible, though the cost and plate fees are not cheaper than thermal transfer printing. Offset printing is usually used for paper, employing thermal transfer disperse ink to transfer the pattern from paper to fabric at high temperature—some also call it thermal sublimation.
