Correct method of measurement:

1: Oral temperature measurement:Place the front of the thermometer under the tongue at a lateral position, and keep the mouth completely closed during measurement. The normal oral temperature is approximately 35.5.℃-3.74℃.

2: Anorectal temperature measurement:If the physician recommends using rectal temperature, apply a water-soluble lubricant at the front of the thermometer to facilitate measurement. Do not use vaseline oil. The normal rectal temperature is approximately 36.2.℃-3.79℃.3:3: Axillary temperature measurement:Place the thermometer under the arm and touch the skin. Before measurement, make sure there is no sweat under the arm. Position the thermometer parallel to the body with the arm close to the body to ensure it is fully covered and not affected by air currents. The normal axillary temperature is approximately 35.0.℃-3.7℃,To achieve a more stable axillary temperature measurement, it is recommended to continue measuring for 1–2 minutes even after the beeper sounds the completion signal (a humming sound).

Note: Children should be accompanied by an adult when taking their temperature. When comparing two thermometers, even if the error margins are similar, different temperatures may be measured due to varying measurement methods.

Cleaning Method

Use water-soluble cleaner and cold water to clean the top of the thermometer, or use 75% medical alcohol to wipe the sensor section to remove contaminants.
