Construction Process of Artificial Turf
Preparation before bonding:
I. Clean the bottom of the lawn, the geotextile, the seam tape, etc., and ensure that the surface is dry and free of moisture.
II. The construction environment temperature should be between 0-40℃ for construction, and it is not suitable to construct in rainy and humid weather, otherwise it may lead to poor bonding.
Specific construction steps;
(1). Glue application:
Require the brush to be evenly applied to the bottom of the lawn, with a thin and uniform layer. Do not apply the glue repeatedly, or it may cause bubbles, and even fall. Strictly control the thickness of the glue, and pay attention to the appropriate speed of the coating. Apply the glue to the two adhesive surfaces to be bonded separately.
Adhesion:
Based on the temperature, humidity, and other conditions at that time, the drying time should be reasonably controlled. Generally, it is best to allow 10-15 minutes for the glue to dry, and it is suitable when the glue is about 80-90% dry and does not stick to the touch. When bonding, it is required to align and adhere firmly in one time. It is absolutely forbidden to move the objects to be bonded after bonding.
（3）. Pressure:
After bonding, remove any debris from the surface, and use a specialized rubber mallet to hammer firmly from the bonding area towards both sides to ensure a full and dense bond for added strength.
Curing:
The curing time is usually three days, and the final strength is usually ten days. Therefore, during the curing period, it is necessary to closely monitor its maintenance to avoid excessive exposure, water infiltration and movement, in order to achieve the best state of adhesion.
After bonding, clean the cut pieces of the site before filling with quartz sand and rubber particles.
Quartz sand paving technology
（1）. Sand-filling process:
Use special quartz sand to fix the grass seedlings, ensuring that they do not fall over. Fill the sand to a remaining height of less than 10mm from the grass seedlings. Spread rubber particles evenly on the surface of the grass seedlings, and avoid pouring sand with sharp edges to prevent injuries to athletes.
(2). Spread by manual one-character pattern.
After the artificial turf has been successfully installed, the quartz sand and rubber particles can be laid.
Quartz sand laying must be done with the concept of integral method.
(5). The laying of quartz sand needs to be checked for flatness or whether it reaches a certain quantity. If the quantity is insufficient, it should be supplemented accordingly.
Ⅰ. Any debris found during the laying process must be immediately removed to ensure a smooth surface.
II. After the quartz sand paving is completed, it is necessary to use a hard bristle brush to brush back and forth to ensure that the quartz sand falls fully and compactly.
