For hexagonal meshes using metal wires with a galvanized coating, the wire diameter ranges from 0.3 mm to 2.0 mm. For hexagonal meshes made from PVC-coated metal wires, the PVC (metal) wire has an outer diameter of 0.8 mm to 2.6 mm. The surface of the wire is typically protected by hot-dip galvanizing, and the thickness of the galvanizing layer can be customized according to customer requirements. The maximum galvanizing amount can reach up to 300 g/m².
