Petri dish is a laboratory vessel used for microbial or cell culture, which consists of a flat discoid shape bottom and a cover, and is generally made of glass or plastic. Petri dish materials are basically divided into two categories, mainly plastic and glass. Glass can be used for plant materials, microbial culture and wall-sticking culture of animal cells. The plastic may be made of polyethylene material, which is disposable and used many times. It is suitable for laboratory inoculation, scribing and bacteria separation, and can be used for the cultivation of plant materials.
