Carbon dioxide fire extinguisher
it mainly relies on suffocation and partial cooling to put out fire. Carbon dioxide has a relatively high density, which is about 1.5 times that of air. Under normal pressure, the liquid carbon dioxide will vaporize immediately. Generally, 1kg of liquid carbon dioxide can produce about 0.5 cubic meters of gas. Therefore, when extinguishing fire, carbon dioxide gas can exclude air and surround the surface of the burning object or distribute it in a relatively closed space, reducing the oxygen concentration around the combustible or in the protective space, fire extinguishing due to suffocation. In addition, when carbon dioxide is ejected from the storage container, it will rapidly vaporize the liquid into gas, and absorb part of the heat from the surroundings to play the role of cooling.
Scope of Application:
excellent properties such as good fluidity, high injection rate, non-corrosive containers and not easy to deteriorate are used to put out the initial fires of books, archives, valuable equipment, precision instruments, electrical equipment below 600V and oil.
It is suitable for fighting class B fires (such as kerosene, diesel oil, crude oil, methanol, ethanol, asphalt, paraffin and other fires.) Suitable for fighting class C fires (such as gas, natural gas, methane, ethane, propane, hydrogen and other fires.) Fighting Class E fire (fire with burning objects)
