Instructions (for reference):
step a:
Hold the bottom edge of the magnesium rod against the ground, and use the blade to scrape some Xu magnesium shavings on the rod. Note that when scraping magnesium shavings, the blade should be perpendicular to the magnesium rod. Then integrate the scraped magnesium shavings into a small pile near the combustible (paper leaves, branches, bark, etc.).

Step two:
Hold one side of the magnesium rod against the ground at an angle of about 45 degrees, about 2.5 centimeters away from the magnesium shavings scraped just now. Only by quickly scraping with a blade can Mars be effectively wiped out, the blade should be perpendicular to the scraping surface. In this way, Mars can be triggered and magnesium shavings will be burned, providing you with a white flame.

Use the tips:
Please put the magnesium rod in a small depression on the ground, which will not be affected by the wind.
Damp (not wet) combustibles can also be ignited.
Igniting plastic can be used as smoke signal in emergency. (If necessary, you can use your car tires to burn, attracting the attention of the air plane.)
