A company in Italy is confident that they have found a great solution—the Nakefit insoles that stick to the feet. The creator of Nakefit says these insoles offer “waterproof, cut-resistant, non-slip, and heat-insulating” properties, acting like a pair of “invisible shoes” that serve as a “protective layer” for the feet. Therefore, you can wear them whether you are swimming in the sea, in a swimming pool, or even while running or climbing.
The company states that the anti-slip insoles are made of nano materials, are easy to remove, and can be reused multiple times. More importantly, in addition to heat insulation and protection from cuts, the small protrusions on the soles of Nakefit can effectively prevent warts from forming on the feet or infections caused by bacteria near the pool. There are three colors available for the Nakefit insoles: black, pink, and light blue, and they are available in all sizes.
Nakefit is running a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. A set of Nakefit shoes consists of 10 pairs, priced at 30 euros (approximately 26 pounds). The company’s target amount is 20,000 euros. So far, 1,900 people have supported the initiative, and the funds raised have already exceeded the target by 400%, reaching 8,2796 euros (approximately 7,2821 pounds). The insoles are expected to be shipped in July. The popularity of this project raises a question among retailers: Is the trend of barefoot fashion back again?
