1. Product Features and Uses
The new dual-head thin plate cutter is the third-generation national patent product after multiple improvements. It is a cutting tool powered by electric or pneumatic drills, capable of dual-head cutting of metal thin plates less than 2mm thick (including steel plates, copper plates, aluminum plates, and stainless steel plates). When one end becomes dull, it can be replaced with the other to continue cutting. Whether cutting edges or curved surfaces, it can easily cut various straight lines, curves, arcs, or other irregular lines and shapes. When paired with a thin plate hole-cutting tool, it can cut standard round holes 55mm to 260mm in diameter. This product features light weight, small volume, and convenient operation, making it an ideal tool for automotive repair, sheet metal work, and the development of new products.
Section Two: Operating Requirements and Method of Replacement Parts
1. Oil the blade frequently at the cutting edge, especially when cutting aluminum plates.
Start the electric drill first, then cut, and end by first exiting and then turning off the electric drill.
When cutting, the cutting edge of the cutting tool must be perpendicular to the workpiece to prevent the tool from breaking due to hard banging.
4 Blade Replacement: Open the cover, remove the anti-loosening nuts, loosen the locking screws, pull out the blade with pliers, reinstall the blade, and tighten the screws.
5 Blade Seat Replacement: Rotate the clamping cap counterclockwise to remove it, then replace with the new blade seat.
Section Three: Instructions for the Thin Plate Hole Punch
1 When using a thin plate hole-cutting tool, first insert the drill's front end and the cutter into the round hole of the hole-cutting tool, ensuring the cutter is securely connected to the drill. Then, tighten the three column head screws on the stand to prevent the hole-cutting tool stand from sliding. Insert the measuring rod with the positioning pin facing up from left to right into the small square hole of the stand. Finally, adjust and tighten the top screw to firmly fix the measuring rod, ensuring the accuracy of the cut circular hole based on the size of the desired circular arc.
When cutting a standard circular arc, a thin plate hole punch should be used to ensure a smooth and beautiful cut surface. It is also necessary to drill a 3mm positioning hole first, followed by a 12mm hole. Then, insert the cutting head into the hole to perform the cutting of the inner and outer circles.
