Fifth, apply waterproof tape. Do not try to peel it off to check if it is stuck. A smooth cement roof will quickly integrate, while a rough roof needs some time for the adhesive to fully penetrate. This is because the butyl rubber is not solidified and has the ability to automatically adhere and penetrate. After a while, the tape will fully integrate with the cement.
