Will the eye area and body of the Water Baby I create be blended? This is a technique issue. When applying pressure on the eye area and other details, don’t apply too much pressure. When applying pressure on the second layer, cover the area around the eyes, rather than applying directly on the eyes.

■ If the dilute solution prepared with sodium alginate also shows color bleeding, will the “Water Baby” I made develop wrinkles or cracks?
After the mold is soaked, it must be wiped clean of any remaining culture solution. If not done properly, the product will become wrinkled. Another reason for the wrinkles and cracks is the excess paint used.
■Why does some people feel itchy to play?
All materials of Shu Bao Baby are food-grade, harmless in hot weather, so there is no need to worry. However, if you have calluses or wounds on your hands, a sensation of itching and stinging may occur after removing the calcium oxide solution. This is not due to the product being irritating; even with calluses, contact with saline, vinegar, soy sauce, etc., can cause itching and stinging. Just try it on someone without wounds to see.

■ How long can the sodium alginate solution prepared by oneself be kept? It can be stored at a normal cool place for about 15 days. Customers selling on the street need to control the production amount daily based on their sales capacity.
