PVC glue is suitable for PVC pipe with diameter below 300mm or PVC board with medium area.

It is used in drinking water, water treatment equipment, industrial piping, stadium, irrigation, ventilation system and other fields of civil and industrial PVC piping system. 

1. Cut the pipe to the vertical plane and chamfered 10 to 15 degrees to remove the edge particles, clean and dry the surface to be glued.

2. Test the tightness of the joint between the pipe and the fitting. Under normal conditions, the pipe should insert smoothly 1/3 to 2/3 of the fitting and feel tight.

3. Apply a thick and even layer of glue to the end of the pipe to the depth of the socket of the pipe fitting, and a layer of medium thickness glue to the pipe fitting.

4. When applying glue to a single orifice tube, it shall be avoided that the glue is applied beyond the depth of the socket or flows into the socket.

When the glue is still wet, stick it immediately. If it is not wet enough, reapply the glue and then stick it again. When bonding, push the pipe to the bottom of the fitting with force, and rotate the pipe as much as possible by 1/8 to 1/4 turn.

Wait 5 minutes for pipes up to 2 inches (50 mm) above 60°F(16°C) before moving. Glued pipes should be pressurized to 160 LBS/sq. in. (11.2 kg/sq. cm) at least 60 minutes. Longer drying time is required for pipes larger than 2 inches (50 mm)/ at higher pressures or temperatures below 120°F(16°C).
