Chinese rope skipping
Flip-flop, a traditional children's game passed down from Chinese folk culture. In different regions of China, it has various names, such as string flip, flip drum, pick tension, untie the stock, and so on. This is a fun activity using ropes, which can be played with only dexterous fingers to create many patterns. In Malaysia, the rope used for flip-flop is usually rubber bands (elastic bands), and the materials used abroad include yarn, linen, woolen rope, or cotton yarn. A rope is tied into a loop, and one person weaves a pattern with their fingers, while the other person takes over and flips it into another pattern, alternating the weaving until one person cannot continue.
