执笔方法 立笔。侧笔。 在画细线或者描画精细图案时用（立笔）把笔立起来。而在大范围涂色时用  用颜料描画 将适量美甲专用丙稀颜料挤到调色板上，量太少就会马上凝固的所以可以多挤点。 给笔尖一半左右蘸上颜料。 从调色板上取剩余的颜料，在保证笔尖的毛整齐地聚集在一起的基础上调和颜料。 大范围涂色时颜料的量也只能到笔尖一半的位置。 轻轻地拿着笔和指甲架，两手腕支在桌子保持手能安稳的作画，姿势一定要正确。 在颜料变硬前，用水溶解或者使用喷雾器喷湿。使用美甲练习支架就可以简单地改变方向倾斜等，这样画花更方便。


画细线条 注意笔的倾斜角度，我们试着画短线-使笔尖聚集在一起，保持竖立轻轻地提起笔尖。长线--将笔朝想画去的方向大角度倾斜并移动（画不好长线时用长且软的笔就会简单多了，同样也是将笔大角度地倾斜并向自己想画去的方向）。稍长的线---将笔稍稍倾斜，朝想要画去的方向移动。 曲线----保持笔尖直立时的高度，一圈一圈的画。*画盘上的美甲专用丙稀颜料不够时，水就会慢慢地显得过量了，很容易使得颜色变浅。要画又细又浓的线条时使用喷枪色彩就最方便。
利用笔的屈伸来画 一笔就画完-将笔尖放在纸上轻轻地向下按收力，提笔。
  左右分开画--将笔放在纸上稍稍向右倾，轻轻地运力，向左边提笔。就着叶尖放笔，稍向左倾。轻轻地把笔尖按下去，稍大一点就马上收力向右提笔，使叶子根部合拢。
练习屈伸 不断在画材上进行向右倾和向左倾练习(侧笔）将笔稍稍倾斜着使用。
