SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
This safety recommendations outlines in this section should be read and understood before operating
this machine. When use this machine follow these basic safety precautions to reduce risk of fire,
electric shock or injury. Keep this information for future reference.
WARNING:
Do not place the machine in an area where it may be exposed to water or other liquids.
Do keep away from pets, while in use.
Do prohibit minors or persons with intellectual disabilities to operate this machine.
Before cleaning the machine always unplug the machine from the wall. Do not use liquid or
aerosol clearners on the machine.
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not take apart the machine. When service or repair work
is needed, bring it to a qualified service repair technician.
Do not use the machine in areas with high temperature or high humidity. This may result in the
machine not working properly.
Never leave power cord in contact with hot surfaces.
Never leave power cord hanging from cupboards or shelves.
Never use appliance if the power cord is damaged.
Never attempt to open or otherwise repair the machine.
Never exceed the machines quoted performance.
Never bind sharp or metal objects.
Never bind heat-sensitive documents.
Note: A few magnets are hidden inside somewhere of the machine. Do not place easy-magnetized
or magnetic sensitivity objects around the machine.
Never touch the glue pot and its peripheral location while heating and binding in order to avoid
being scalded.
CAUTION:
When unplugging the power plug, grip the plug to pull it out. Pulling the cord may result in
electric shock, fire, or damage to the machine.
Do not use the machine if the cord is damaged. This may result in electric shock, fire, or other
hazards.
Do not place objects on the power cord and do not bend it excessively. This may result in electric
shock, fire or other hazards.
When not using the machine for long period of time, unplug the power cord from the outlet.
When operating, place the machine on a flat, level surface.
Test scrap sheets and set the machine before use.POWER SUPPLY:
Ensure the power plug to connect onto the socket on the wall. And the wall socket must supply AC
220V, 50Hz, more than 1.5KW of independent power. Do not share the power outlet with other
appliances. Forbid using extension socket, it may result in electric shock, fire or other hazards. Low
voltage or overload may cause the unit to malfuntion. This machine is a Class I appliance and must be
firmly earthed in use.

OPERATION
BEFORE BINDING
Make sure the machine is on a flat, stable surface. Check there is enough clear space around the
machine to operate safety.
Assembling attached parts: Take all attached parts from package and assembling or fixing them
onto corresponding position one by one. (Please refer to the diagram of equipment parts)
Pour appropriate amount of Hot-meltedglue into the glue port.
Put one end of power cord into the machine’s power socket and for the other’s, plug in the wall
socket as well.
MELTING GLUE
Turn on the power switch. In the mean while, the red indicator lamp lights up. If the Knob was set
at 0℃, the red indicator lamp would not light up.
Turn the Knob at 145℃（Recommended setting temperature of glue melting）. The melting
temperature of Hot-melted glue produced by different manufactures is different. Usually the
melting temperature range is from 135 ℃ to 155 ℃ 。（ Attention: The maximum melting
temperature if this machine is constant at 180℃. Even if you set the melting temperature above
180℃, the actual temperature is only at 180℃ as well.）
Normally it takes about 20 minutes to heat up the hot-melted glue at room temperature until they
are completely melted.
When the set temperature is reached, the red indicator lamp goes out and the green indicator lamp
lights up. If the hot-melted glue has not completely melted after the red indicator lamp goes out.
Turn the knob to 155℃ or higher in order to be sure the glue meltes completely when the green
indicator lamp lights up.
After the hot-melted gule melted completely, turn on the roller switch then roller turns.
BINDING OPERATION
To test scrap sheets and set the machine before use is strongly recommended!
Simply operating guidelines: 1. Turn on the power switch. Turn the Knob at 145℃ and wait until the
hot-melted glue completely melted. 2. Put the paper/document in the middle of two metal plates on the
sliding table. Turn the hand wheel clock wise until the paper has been clamped. 3. Place a paper cover
on the platform and held on by two clips. Turn on the milling cutter swtich and roller switch. 4. Grasp
the holder and push the sliding table slowly and in constant speed to right until it stops on the platform.5. Lift the handle, press it down with appropriate force and keep for 5-8 seconds. 6. Push the handle
back to its initial position, turn the hand wheel counter clockwise to release the document. Push the
sliding table to initial position. 7. Check well-bound document carefully, find out its defect. Refer t the
section of Binding techniques & Trouble shooting and re-work until reaching perfect result. 8. Finally
turn off the main switch and unplug if you don’t want to bind documents any more.
Caution: Please do not open the well-bound book within half hour because it’ll take a long time to cool
down the glue.
BINDING TECHNIQUES AND TROUBLE SHOOTING
Note: In order to save user’s time and to obtain perfect binding effect quickly, it is strongly
recommended to read the following carefully:
The initial setting of this machine is suitable for binding copy paper with paper cover. The
thickness of glue coating is about 0.5mm. If user would like to bind bond paper: 1. change the
current glue into special glue for bond paper or adjust the position of metal sheet to reach the
thickness of glue coating which is between 0.8mm-1.5mm. (To loosen the screw of the metal
sheet through the hole with a screw driver. Press down the metal sheet a little and tighten the
screw).
If the spine is wrinkled, two ends overflow a lot of glue: When user operates binding step. DO
NOT PRESS DOWN THE HANDLE WITH STRONGER FORCE! It will cause the slide block to
clamp document tightly. Try several times by using different force to reach perfect effect. Or
adjust the position of metal sheet to decrease the thickness of glue coating. If the cover is thin,
place a copy paper under the paper cover, then proceeds the binding step.
If the cover and document were not bound neatly or the centerline of spine was slanted: Check if
the cover is square or rectangular. Or adjust the edges of the two clips to be on the same vertical
line.
User can probably solve the problem quickly for following listed phenomenon.
Troubles
Analysis Result and Solution
The thickness of glue coating of spine is not
evenly
The glue in the pot is not melted completely.
Or the temperature setting is not correct: try
to increase 10 ℃ or more. To be sure the
glue is completely melted before operating.
The glue in the pot is not enough: Pour more
hot-melted glue to the pot. It’s proper that
the shaft of the glue applicator is just
submerged by glue.
Adjust the position if metal sheet to reach
appropriated thickness of glue coating.
The cover and the document are not bound well.
Two parallel indentation lines of the cover are
slanted on the book spine.
Adjust the margin adjustor to appropriate
position. Place the cover on the supporting
plate properly.
Check if the cover is square or rectangular.
The document is not well bound. Documents are

Check if the spine of the document is placed
on the sliding table properly and clamped by
metal plate tightly.
The spine is wrinkled, two ends overflow a lot of

times by using dufferent forces to reach

the paper cover, then proceeds the binding
step.
A few pages can be easily pull out or could not be
bound.
The setting of melting temperature is low.
Adjust the knob to increase the temperature
to be between 145 ℃ -155 ℃ in order to
improve
teh
glue’s
flowability
and
permeability.
Adjust the position of metal sheet to reach
the thinkness of glue coating which is
between 0.8mm-1.5mm.
Change the current glue into special glue
that matches different type of machine,
season and different kind of paper.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING:
The stability, reliability and service life of stringless thermal binding machine are closely related to
your daily maintenance. Clean it regularly, to add oil often in the moving parts can extend its service
life.
These parts are often required to oil: gears, two straight rods, two grooves under slide block, two rods
of sliding table. etc.
Always scrape off the glue at the bottom of the sliding table, on the platform and the surrounding part
of the glue pot.
It is necessary to check regularly by a professional machanic for each part of the machine and if the
screws are fastened.
