【Usage Instructions】
1. Before use, first disinfect the sensor head of the thermometer with a wet wipe.
2. Press the power button, and the buzzer will emit a beep with a prompt symbol displayed.
3. Subsequently, the display shows the last measured temperature for 2 seconds, after which the °C symbol flashes to indicate it is in the measurement state.
4, Place the thermometer sensor at the measurement site, and the display will show the temperature rising gradually. Meanwhile, the °C symbol flashes to indicate that the measurement is in progress.
If the temperature remains constant for 16 seconds in continuous measurement, the°C symbol will stop flashing and a beep will be issued to indicate that the body temperature measurement is complete and the result has been stored. The displayed temperature value can then be read.
5. After the measurement is completed, if the power button is not pressed to turn off the power, the device will shut down automatically after 10 minutes.
The body temperature serves as a barometer of physical health status. Normal body temperature ranges generally from 36°C to 37.3°C (based on oral temperature), 37.4°C to 38°C indicates mild fever, 38.1°C to 39°C indicates moderate fever, 39.1°C to 41°C indicates severe fever, and above 41°C indicates hypersevere fever. The typical oral temperature for humans is 36.8°C, while the axillary temperature is approximately 0.3°C to 0.5°C lower than the oral temperature, and the rectal temperature is about 0.3°C to 0.6°C higher than the oral temperature.
