Sharks, which live in the oceans and are fish of the sea, existed on Earth over 300 million years before dinosaurs appeared. They have been present for more than 500 million years, with little change over nearly 100 million years. In ancient times, sharks were also known as jiao, jiao shark, or sha fish. They are massive creatures in the ocean, hence they are called “seafood wolves”. Traditional beliefs claim that shark cartilage (i.e., shark fin) contains high levels of protein, but this is incorrect. The protein content in eggs far exceeds that in shark fin. Additionally, research shows that due to the easy accumulation of mercury in sharks and the presence of certain neurotoxins in shark fin, they pose potential risks to humans. As a result of extensive hunting over decades, sharks are at risk of extinction.
Scientific Production:
1. Identify and prepare the materials required for the experiment.
2. Follow the instructions in the manual step by step for installation.
3. After installation, proceed with debugging.
Scientific Principles:
The battery transmits current to the motor, which converts electrical energy into mechanical energy to drive the propeller. The high-speed rotation of the propeller uses aerodynamic principles to propel the boat forward.
Scientific Expansion:
Speedboats are considered the "short-distance runners" among naval vessels, with maximum speed reaching 40–60 knots and earning the nickname "light cavalry at sea". The weapons equipped on speedboats include torpedo boats, missile boats, and missile-torpedo boats. Although small in size, speedboats possess significant power and play a crucial role. For large and medium-sized enemy ships approaching coastal areas, torpedo boats and missile boats can operate individually or in coordination with other surface vessels to destroy these enemy ships. Speedboats can also be deployed to attack enemy transport fleets and disrupt their maritime transportation networks. With their high speed, compact hull, ability to hide, and capacity for sudden attacks on enemy bases and anchorage areas, speedboats can be used to lay mines in shallow waters, narrow sea areas, and reef zones. Among speedboats, missile boats are particularly powerful; they inherit the advantages of torpedo boats and hold a very important position in naval battles. However, compared to large and medium-sized ships, they have weaker self-defense capabilities and poor resistance to wind and waves, making them suitable only for coastal operations. Modern speedboats utilize missile weapons, advanced miniaturized electronic equipment, high-power steam turbines, and hydrofoil and hover technology, evolving toward directions such as missileization, enlargement, high speed, and electrification. In future naval battles, speedboats will play an even greater role.
