Self-made microscope course presentation materials

The early microscope was manufactured in the late 16th century in the Netherlands. Its inventors were As Janssen, a Dutch optician, or another Dutch scientist, Hans Lipperckx. They created a simple microscope using two lenses, but they did not use these instruments for any significant observations.
Later, two people began using microscopes in science. One was the Italian scientist Galileo. After observing an insect through the microscope, he described its compound eyes. The other was the Dutch linen merchant Anton van Leeuwenhoek (1632–1723), who learned how to grind lenses himself. He described many tiny plants and animals that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
In 1931, Ernst Ruska revolutionized biology by developing the electron microscope. This enabled scientists to observe objects as small as one million nanometers. In 1986, he was awarded the Nobel Prize.

Experiment Report:Due to the fact that the dark-field microscope does not allow transparent light to enter the observation system directly, there is no light in the field when nothing is present, making it impossible to observe any object. When an object is present, the light reflected and scattered by the object becomes brightly visible against the dark background. During dark-field observation of objects, most of the illumination is refracted back, and due to the structure and thickness of the object (specimen), there are significant variations in light scattering and refraction.
