Wallpaper Installation Steps

Hanging wallpaper also has a process, which usually includes five steps,

1. Firstly, the base layer is cleaned, the gaps are filled, and joint strips are pasted at the joints of gypsum board, and the joint compound is patched;

2. Scrape and smooth the putty, when dealing with the basic layer, it must be cleaned, leveled, and smooth.

4. Cut the paper and apply glue, and use a plumb line to mark the width of the wallpaper on the wall.

5. Apply wallpaper to the wall, align the edges, and use a rubber roller to flatten the wall and push out air bubbles from the adhesive. Trim, use a wallpaper knife to cut off any excess wallpaper from the ceiling, skirting, and windows, and wipe off the glue.

A roll of wallpaper is 10 meters long and 53 centimeters wide, which is equivalent to 5.3 square meters! Due to the loss of mosaic decoration, the calculation of square meters, a roll is only calculated as 4.5 square meters! (For example: the height of the wall is 2.7 meters, a roll of wallpaper is 10 meters long, 2.7 * 3 = 8.1 meters, the remaining 1.9 meters are mosaic losses)
