【Towing Tips】

When starting the trailer, because of the additional weight of a car, the front vehicle should add more fuel to increase the engine's RPM, and then slowly release the clutch pedal, allowing the rope to tighten before starting. When the vehicle in front shifts gears, the tow rope will loosen for a moment. At this time, the towed vehicle should not apply the brakes. Otherwise, when the leading vehicle accelerates, the tow rope will suddenly tighten, causing a shock. Only when the rope is on the ground for a moment can you gently apply the brakes.

When descending a long slope, you can untie the rope and let the two cars slide down separately, which is very safe; if the slope is not long, you can descend with the rope attached. The leading car should not easily step on the brakes, while the following car can lightly step on the brakes to keep the rope always taut.

When stopping at a crossroad, the vehicle in front should lightly press the brakes a few times to give a signal to the following vehicle, and then the following vehicle should apply the brakes to bring both vehicles to a stop. When making a turn, be sure to take a wide turn, and try to tighten the rope to avoid any danger.
