Its melting point is 150°C, the softening point is 7-13 seconds, the curing point is 7-14 seconds, and the cooling point is 2-3 minutes. If you are worried about items like down jackets getting damaged by heat, you can cover the cloth patches with a thin layer of cloth and isolate the iron from the clothes.
