【Pen Usage Instructions】

Usage and Maintenance:

(1) Protect the coating layer on the metal surface to prevent collisions and wear between hard metals, and avoid contact with acidic or alkaline solutions. It can be wiped with a soft cloth to keep the pen in good condition.

(2) There are two types of water storage structures: the water absorber (single-use structure) and the water absorber combined with an ink cartridge (dual-use structure).

(3) When using the absorbent device, please select high-quality ink without sediment. Before disusing and storing it, wash the interior with clean water, dry it thoroughly, and then store it. If the ink has not been cleaned and is not used for a long time before being called upon, please wash it first, and then use the ink.

(4) Do not use black ink containing gumming agents to prevent blockage of the writing structure and affect water drainage.

(5) Plastic components should not come into contact with solvents or organic solvents, and should not be placed in high temperatures (65°C).

(6) The writing structure should not be disassembled or assembled by oneself to prevent parts from falling out or being damaged.

(7) Usage of ink cartridge and absorbent device:

A. Replace the ink cartridge: Remove the old ink cartridge and push the new one firmly into the front of the pen. Place the spare ink cartridge in the pen body as shown;
B. Insert the rotating water absorber: Push it firmly into the front end of the pen, then rotate the tail of the water absorber. First, rotate counterclockwise until air is expelled, then rotate clockwise to draw in ink.
C. Inserting the pull-out absorbent device: Push it firmly into the front end of the pen, then move the pull rod to draw in the ink.
D. Inserting a spring-loaded water absorber: Push it firmly into the front of the pen, then press the spring piece to draw in ink.
(8) Cleaning of fountain pens:
The water storage structure is dual-purpose. Remove the ink cartridge or absorbent device, then immerse the pen tip and front end in warm water until the deposits soften.
After inserting the water absorber, immerse the pen tip in warm water, then hold the tail of the rotating water absorber and rotate it in a counter-clockwise or clockwise direction (for the pull-type water absorber, push the pull rod back and forth; for the spring-type water absorber, press the spring continuously). Change the water multiple times until it is clear, and finally dry it with a soft cloth before storage.
For a single-structured one, simply immerse the tip in warm water, press and knead the absorbent pad continuously until the water is clear, then dry it and set aside.
